Camp Au Sable

Camp is the number one place where children give their hearts and lives to Jesus. And that is exactly what is Camp Au Sable’s goal: to lead children to their Savior,  Jesus.

Located in Grayling, Michigan, on a beautiful spring-fed lake, Camp Au Sable aims for every activity, whether it is facing one’s fears on the climbing wall, or walking around the boardwalk, to lead participants closer to Jesus.

Not only does Au Sable host children’s summer camps, but they also host family camps, retreats and Pathfinder events throughout the year. For more information, please visit Camp Au Sable’s webpage.

Camp Au Sable Staff

David Glenn and his wife, Bailey, are passionate about serving God in youth and children’s ministry, wherever He calls them to be. They have worked in education and summer camp ministry for a number of years and are now accepting God’s call to serve full-time at Camp Au Sable. They enjoy spending time together outdoors, reading, cooking, and learning new things. They desire Camp Au Sable to continue to be a place where kids and families can fall in love with Jesus!

Tammy Micheff is the Office Manager. In addition, she runs the camp store during the summer and is head of guest services. She has previously worked in the Ministerial Department, Developmental Department, and as an office coordinator. Tammy loves living at beautiful Camp Au Sable, but one of her greatest joys is her family: her two adult children Crystal and Jeremy,  Jeremy’s wife Natasha, and her grandson, Ezra.

Gordon Atkins is the Camp Naturalist. His duties include reinvigoration for the Nature Center, developing and running an Outdoor Education Program for the Michigan SDA schools, mentoring teachers, organizing summer camp, and leading tours on and off camp. He believes that God’s second book has the ability to reach everyone. Gordon and his wife, Karen, have two grown children and one grandchild.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
